My Army List(s) and my problem...

I am still waffling on what to play in the league . Here is one list I am looking at running, but it might see more revision before the deadline:

Blood Raven 1997pt. List

HQ – Librarian in Terminator armor w/ storm bolter/force weapon, Gate of Infinity and Might of the Ancients [125]

I would say the Tau list just cause it adds more variety to the League.

That being said I actually like the Space Marine list more.

The only problem I see with BOTH lists is not enough Anti vehicle weaponry.
Maybe a normal Land Raider for the Marines and adding one more broadside while splitting the Broadsides into 3 one-man squads or 1 2-man and 1 1-man squad.

Either way, both pretty solid builds though.

Thanks for looking it over (again ) since I think this is build number five for both now .

Build number six is sitting at the house for the Tau which drops the Adv Stabs and adds multi-trackers for the broadsides. I'll have to check the point costs for the fusion blasters and see if I can add some more, especially twin linked stuff. My biggest misgiving for the Tau is their extreme weakness for close combat. Once an enemy gets close enough to do that, it's all over but the crying as I get my butt served up on a platter.

The marine list had a lot more multi-meltas in the past but I tried to bring in more AOE equipment to deals with hordes and leave the AT roles to my Devastators and Razorback.
